Dining In Christ's Kitchen Ministry is moving!  Due to the success of the Open Community Meal held at DICK's Place, the Christ UMC outreach team is moving the ministry to the fellowship hall of the church. The free meal will continue to be served between 4-6p every Monday night beginning February 1st.  However, the location will be at the Christ United Methodist Church , next to the River of Life Community Center, located at 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown.  Dick Miller and the support team at Christ UMC are excited about the opportunities this change will bring for both the church and community.  We believe the larger space will accommodate more people and there will be ample parking.  This change will also create opportunities to introduce new and exciting programs such as financial classes, grief counseling, and family activities.  We would like to thank Dick Miller and his family for sharing their vision for this much needed ministry in the Newcomerstown area and allowing Christ UMC to be a part of its implementation.  Their willingness to host the Dining In Christ’s Kitchen Ministry this past year is greatly appreciated.  Dick will carry on as the primary chef for the community meal each week.  Journey's End and the Newcomerstown-Port Washington Ministerial Association will continue to be a part of this worthwhile program
