Our Updated Response to Covid-19
Our Administrative Council has voted to reopen our church for in-house worship on June 21st. We will have services at 9:00AM and 10:30AM.
We understand that some people will be excited to attend worship in the church building and other people will want to wait a few more weeks before rejoining in-house worship. For those who prefer not to attend in-person we are glad to continue offering online worship each Sunday morning.
For those who will be attending in-person worship, we do want you to be aware that we will be practicing social distancing restrictions for the safety of our community. We will be sending out a letter with more details about these restrictions so that you can better consider if you want to attend. A simplified summary of these restrictions is as follows: we be required to wear masks and attenders will be ushered to their seats in order to help us sit over 6 feet from one another. We will do our best to make your church experience “touch-free” in as many ways as possible.
As you might expect, these restrictions will make it necessary for us to find extra workers. These are new ways for you to serve our Lord God and help your friends in Christ. We need to train new ushers and greeters. We will also need to train new computer operators to live-stream our services on YouTube. If you are willing to attend a training session and help in these ways, please reply to this email and we will contact you about the time for these training sessions. We need help if reopening is going to happen!
Please pray for our church as we work through the preparations necessary to make our reopening as safe as possible for our community.
Looking Forward to Seeing You,
